flax

Flax or linen fibre is obtained from the stalks of the flax plant and is a bast fibre. This natural and historically significant material is valued for its resistance, durability and breathability. Certain types of flax fabric, such as linen, have unique properties that make them suitable for a variety of purposes.

In our case, the fabric consists of 40 % flax and 60 % cotton. The two materials are already mixed in the thread. This special thread is used to increase the stretch, as a 100% flax thread has virtually no stretch.
